Plymouth Devils v Sheffield Tigers

Plymouth begin their home programme in the Premier League with a match against Sheffield at the St Boniface Arena on Friday evening (7.15pm).

They will look to bounce back from Sunday’s 50-43 defeat at Scunthorpe with team manager Lee Trigger taking some positives from that seven-point reverse.

He says: "If we had scored one more point, we would have come away from Scunthorpe with a losing bonus point.

"There were some positives for us, including our new reserve Stefan Nielsen winning two races for us and the team got another meeting under their belts."

There was praise, also, for skipper Kyle Newman, who completed five races despite suffering from a nasty groin injury which he received while racing for Elite League side Poole on Friday evening.
