Last Call for UK manufacturers
UK manufacturers both large and small from all over the UK are being urged to enter The Manufacturer MX Awards (TMMX) by the deadline of June 30.
TMMX Awards is the biggest annual celebration in the industry’s calendar, attracting almost 1000 attendees. The free to enter programme is not just about the awards though, they are the pinnacle of a stringent programme designed to provide valuable business improvement advice and feedback from an expert panel of judges in the form of a confidential business report.
The TMMX Awards categories range from recognition in innovation and sustainability, through to apprenticeships, leadership and staff engagement, so there are plenty of opportunities for businesses of all sizes and sectors to be recognised for excellence.
Entries are open to all UK manufacturing companies and it is free to make submissions in as many categories as desired. Entries close on 30 June.

Grant Collier, TMMX Awards Manager, said “Winning one of these awards or becoming a finalist brings significant benefits. The Awards are a celebration of a three stage assessment process involving over 35 expert judges from across the industry. After the ceremony each finalist receives a personalised, complimentary, confidential Assessment and Business Improvement Report written by Durham University Business School, based on the judges’ feedback. All finalists are also invited to profile their business with a free double page within the highly prestigious annual The Manufacturer Opus, a ‘coffee table’ publication circulated to MPs and UK Industry ambassadors to highlight the best of UK manufacturing. These benefits alone are a strong reason to enter”.
TMMX Awards 2016 are supported by headline sponsor NatWest, co-sponsor Meggitt; category sponsors Autodesk; EPSRC Centre for Innovative Manufacturing in Through-life Engineering Services; Grant Thornton, ILX Skills, Industry Forum; Warwick Manufacturing Group; University of Warwick, judging sponsor University of Birmingham, and partner Durham University Business School.
The awards are organised and run the Hennik Group, publishers of The Manufacturer in collaboration and with the support of the Institution.
