How would you like a free pair of hands?
No matter where you are based throughout the country there is a wealth of talent just waiting to be tapped into and it has never been as readily accessible as it is now!
Just in the last couple of weeks we have attended exhibitions, business gatherings and breakfast meetings highlighting the resources available to businesses, many of which are free to the employer and could serve as a valuable extra pair of hands to growing businesses watching their cash flow that would benefit enormously from some extra assistance at this time.
In particular we are talking about the resource of International Students and ex Public Sector employees.
Here in the South West of England where we are based, a great deal of information is available about each of these opportunities with the message being that if you’ve got a project that you’ve put on the back burner for a while, need some help with your admin or want to offer some great work experience and benefit from an extra pair of hands in the process, then there are options available to you which are completely FREE of charge. Sounds too good to be true? Well it isn’t!
The reasons for this are simple. International Students are looking for work experience which ultimately helps their CVs and which could in turn lead to long term employment and Public Sector workers are losing their jobs through national job cuts and have excellent administrative skills in place but need help adjusting to the Private Sector environment. Placements can be for a few weeks or a few months dependent on the assistance needed and the availability of the individual and we’ve heard some excellent feedback already from companies who are using these resources.
Who wouldn’t want to take advantage of this and help people in the process?
