Students and staff at Atlantic Academy located in North Devon, part of Athena Learning Trust, are celebrating their fantastic GCSE results today.
After two years of dedication and tenacity, pupils have been rewarded with a brilliant set of results, which reflect their continued drive and hard work. The entire school community has come together celebrate the results of all the students.
The Academy is pleased to see a year of strong results, with 62% of students achieving a grade 4+ in both English and maths, a 20% improvement on 2022, and 46% of students achieving 5+ in English and maths, a 33% improvement on 2022 results.
Atlantic Academy saw particular success in many subjects including 80% of students achieving a grade 4+ in English, 74% of students with a 4+ in science and 100% pass rate at 4+ in performing arts. Top grades were also awarded to many of our talented artists in fine art or photography.
Alongside the continued success of the academy, there are also some standout individual performances, including:
- Logan Jago secured grades 7 and 8 in all of his subjects, going to study A levels in maths, physics and geography locally.
