Blundell’s School pupils gained another fantastic set of GCSE results this year, marking a moment of celebration and real pride for our community.

Thirteen percent of all grades awarded were a 9, 33% were at 9–8, and an impressive 52% of all grades were at 7, 8 or 9. Fourteen pupils averaged a grade 8 or higher, and the year group as a whole has achieved excellent value-added results across all abilities.

Dr Ratcliffe, Deputy Head Academic, said:
“We could not be more thrilled with the achievements of our Year 11 pupils. These results are a fantastic reward for their determination, ambition and positivity throughout their GCSE courses. They have combined academic excellence with an extraordinary commitment to sport, music, drama, service, and so much more, making this success even more remarkable.

It has been a real privilege to see them grow into such well-rounded young people, supported every step of the way by our dedicated staff. Today’s results reflect not only their ability but also their spirit, and we are enormously proud of every single one of them.”
