Breadth of talent shown in Appreciation of Dance

Students delivered almost two hours of dance performances in the annual Appreciation of Dance show, as they demonstrated pieces that they have been working on in the current academic year.

The evening showcased 26 performances, from GCSE and A-Level work to recitals by the recreational dance club, junior dance Company, Senior Dance Company and Ivybridge Dance Academy.

“It was a wonderful night and a great opportunity for parents and other family members to see the high-quality work that our students are performing day-in day-out,” said Helen Reddy, Head of Performing Arts. “There was some exceptional work from our students, who presented pieces from their coursework and from lunchtime and after-college classes.”

The evening was supported by refreshments from the local girl guides group.
