Be inspired by some of the best and brightest of Devon and Cornwall's culinary world at this year's Mount Edgcumbe Christmas Fayre.

Toby Bragg from the Devonport Guildhall will be proving his baking know-how on Saturday 7 December when he uncovers the mysteries of bread making, before Chris Penk and his Cornwall College catering students give a demonstration, where you might just witness the rising of a brand new star.

Next will be Nick Barclay from the Blue Plate, always a local favourite with ideas for all, followed by a touch of the continental brought to you from Jerome Leopold, all the way from the Devonport Inn in Cawsand.

Another local boy (by choice) is Matt Corner from The View Restaurant who will demonstrate some tricks of the trade before giving you the chance to delight in the results.

Finally on Saturday you will be treated to the amazing expertise of Annette Cole from Country Sport South West who will give you alternative ideas to the traditional turkey when she shares her knowledge and skills using some local game.

Creative juices will be flowing again on Sunday 8 December when Paul Eynon from the Lemon Tree Café Bistro brings more beautiful ingredients to life in the Cookery Theatre, followed by Neil Haydock from The Watergate Bay Hotel, who won’t be outdone and is sure to create a culinary masterpiece to delight the taste buds.

Richard Valder from Angela’s Restaurant will be next to the stage, demonstrating all the skills that have made his Exeter restaurant so  busy  before the ever popular Didier Franchet from Chloe’s Restaurant rounds off the two-day culinary extravaganza.
