Bugsy Malone at Plympton Academy this week

The musical Bugsy Malone comes to Plympton Academy this week.

More than 40 performing arts students are taking part and have been busy rehearsing for months. More students and teachers will be helping out backstage with the set and lighting.
“It’s very exciting,” said Drama teacher, Chelsi Ludlow. “Everyone is working really hard to make this a fantastic production.”
Set in 1929 New York City Bugsy Malone captures a flashy world of would-be hoodlums, showgirls and dreamers.

Tickets are available from the school’s main reception. £6 for adults and £4 for children. The musical runs from March 22 – 25.
