Celebrate LOVE for the big screen

This winter, as part of the BFI’s three month UK-wide blockbuster, LOVE: FILMS TO FALL IN LOVE WITH… FILMS TO BREAK YOUR HEART in partnership with Plusnet, the BFI will be teaming up with Vue Cinemas to spread the love nationwide for the big screen experience.

Vue Cinemas across the UK, including Plymouth, will unite the nation’s passion for cinema with the ultimate love-in and date night with four iconic love stories in November and December - Romeo & Juliet, Titanic, True Romance and Brokeback Mountain.

Pine over everyone’s favourite 90s teen heartthrob Leonardo DiCaprio in Baz Luhrmann’s effortlessly cool Romeo + Juliet (1996) and James Cameron’s Oscar-winning epic Titanic (1997), co-starring Kate Winslet. Experience love at first sight with True Romance (1993), written by Quentin Tarantino and starring Christian Slater and Patricia Arquette as lovers on the run Clarence and Alabama. Finally, prepare for heartbreak with Ang Lee’s award-winning Brokeback Mountain (2005) starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger.
