Plymouth Children vote unlikely celebs as their top explorers

New research conducted by Cadburys has revealed that children of Plymouth are more likely to see celebrities such as Ant and Dec and Joey Essex as explorers than Sir David Attenborough and Christopher Columbus.

The research was conducted to celebrate the annual Easter Egg Trails provided by Cadburys and The National Trust.

This year's trails have a ' eggsplorer theme' which is why Cadburys were inspired to find out who Plymouth children saw as their ultimate explorer.

Bear Grylls was the most popular choice, with 26% seeing the TV star as their ultimate explorer.

The research also saw surprising celebrities such as Joey Essex (5%) and Ant and Dec thrown into the mix when the children were asked to name their ultimate explorer.

When asked the same question adults came up with celebrity names to be expected such as Sir David Attenborough ( 24%) and Christopher Columbus ( 12%).

To celebrate this joyful feat, the ‘eggsplorers’ have been immortalised onto the face of a Cadbury Egghead product and gifted to them as a tasty Easter treat.

Families will be given the opportunity to discover their inner explorers this Easter as the annual Cadbury Easter Egg Trails with the National Trust bring hunts to over 260 inspiring British locations, hoping to bring out the inner explorer in everyone.
