Argye Fans' Trust to collect for Plymouth Foodbank before Bury match
The Argyle Fans’ Trust will be holding its annual collection for the Plymouth Foodbank before this Saturday’s game with Bury.
In the past two years Argyle fans have been exceptionally generous, and the AFT hope that spirit can continue on Saturday to allow even more people to benefit from the excellent work done by the Foodbank.
With the current financial climate, Foodbanks all around the country are in increasing demand all year round, but they are particularly valuable at Christmas time. The Trust are asking Argyle supporters to bring 'A Can A Fan' this weekend to help those in need.
Foodbank organiser Eunice Halliday will be present with volunteers both at the FanFest at the Green Taverners Suite and then from 1:30pm at the Trust gazebo outside the Devonport End leading up to kickoff. (If the weather is bad the gazebo may not be up but collections will still be taken.)
