Plymouth resident fights obesity with NSCC and is now participating in 10k marathons
Plymouth resident, Simon King, has spent countless years struggling with obesity, until the day he discovered National Slimming & Cosmetics Clinics. In only the duration of a few months, he lost a miraculous 3 stones and gives full gratitude to NSCC, for he wouldn’t have been able to do it without them. From the very start, Simon gathered a friendly and positive energy from NSCC, and they remained sincerely supportive and encouraging through every step of the way. Simon’s misapprehended harmful habits of skipping meals, rare exercise and constant convenience food cravings were actually the prime reasons for his obesity. NSCC provided him with daily appetite suppressants that helped control his appetite along with any needless hunger cravings. He was finally experiencing new levels of motivation and self-discipline that he was missing all those years of failed attempts at weight loss. Touching 16 stones a few years ago, Simon is presently participating in marathons all over the UK that he never believed would ever be physically possible for him. He is dedicated to helping others through the same struggle by sharing his story as a motivational guidance, and help raise money for numerous charities, some of which are related to heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and children in need. Currently representing Lloyds bank and supporting ‘Get Kids Going Charity’, he has previously participated in the Exeter 10k, Plymouth 10k, and the Exmouth 5k. He continues to commit himself to further upcoming events such as the Prudential London Surrey Ride 100, Morrisons Great North Run, and Lloyds Bank Cardiff Marathon. This adds up to 6 grand events in one year! Simon continues to give full gratitude to NSCC for helping him overcome his weight loss that has changed his life to this day, and enabled him to take part in such events. Having built a warm and personal relationship with those at NSCC Plymouth throughout his journey, NSCC has willingly agreed to further give their full support and sponsor Simon as he takes part in the upcoming marathons for a good cause.
