Alzheimer’s Society’s Forget Me Not Appeal in Devon
This May, Alzheimer’s Society invites everyone in Devon to come together and support its Forget Me Not Appeal to remember and honour people they know who are living with dementia or who had dementia.
By wearing your Forget Me Not badge and supporting the appeal, you can show people living with dementia in Devon they have not been forgotten, and you understand and stand with them. The badge is a symbol of solidarity and shows supporters, through their donations, are helping to provide life-changing dementia support.
Who will you wear your badge for?
It’s never been more important to unite against dementia. There are currently 14, 910 people living with dementia in Devon with someone developing it every three minutes. This number is set to rise to over one million by 2025, with many millions more carers, partners, families, and friends affected.
Alzheimer’s Society is a vital source of support and a powerful force for change for everyone affected by dementia in Devon. Too many are facing some of the hardest and most frightening times alone, without adequate support. It is only with the generous help of supporters that Alzheimer’s Society can carry out its urgent work providing expert support to those who need it most.
Alzheimer’s Society is asking people in Devon to join the Forget Me Not Appeal in honour of loved ones by donating, getting a badge and showing their support.
