Devon-based B-Corp business, The Positive Birth Company, has announced its first-ever extended summer sale, offering 50% off all online courses until 8pm (BST) this coming Friday 7th July in a bid to further support expectant and new parents struggling with the Cost of Living Crisis.
Known for its work to democratise birth education, the company’s fully comprehensive antenatal and postnatal courses (including their multi-award winning Hypnobirthing Pack) have already set the industry standard in pricing, meaning education and support that had previously cost hundreds and only been accessible for the financially privileged is now only £39. This year, to reflect the ever-increasing number of expectant families living in increasing financial insecurity, the company has decided to launch a five day summer sale offering a further 50% off all online courses, and donating 50p from the sale of each pack to Action for Children to support families in financial crisis.
“We know times are tough for people right now,” said the company’s Torquay-based founder and CEO Siobhan Miller, who is also the author of the bestselling book Hypnobirthing: Practical Ways to Make Your Birth Better. “And we know that conscious spending is more important than ever. This is why we’ve switched up our approach to sales this year, extending them for slightly longer to give people more time to make a really considerate purchase and take their time before they buy. We’ve also continued to invest in many free resources, as well as upgrade our packs to offer a one-to-one listening call with one of our resident midwives as we know this support is currently hard to access via the NHS due to the current midwife crisis. We’re constantly looking for new ways to support expectant and new parents through these pivotal moments in their lives and continue to set the standard for birth education around the world. The 50% off #SummerPowerUp sale covers all five courses in the company’s suite of online packs, including The Fertility Pack, The Pregnancy Pack, The Hypnobirthing Pack, The Postpartum Pack and The Early Years Pack. Each course comes with hours of self-paced video learning, extra downloadable resources and access to a private community for ongoing peer support.
