ChromCadillacs & Cruisers: Cofton’s Biggest Car Show Yet Roars to Life!

The chequered flag has come down on another unforgettable American Car Show at Cofton Holidays, and what a weekend it was. With over 200 jaw-dropping vehicles on display and 3,500 guests soaking up the vibrant atmosphere, the 2025 event was the biggest and best in the show’s eight-year history.

From the growl of Mustangs to the gleam of classic Cadillacs, petrolheads, families and furry friends flocked to the award-winning holiday park near Dawlish to celebrate a shared love of American motors, live music, and family-friendly entertainment.

The Saturday cruise through Dawlish town and along the seafront was once again a highlight, turning heads and drawing cheers from the roadside as a convoy of American police cars led the way. Families enjoyed a host of activities from pottery painting and circus skills to meeting Digby the Dinosaur and soaking up the sunshine in the inflatable fun zone. Even four-legged guests got in on the action with the much-loved Crofts Dog Show, raising funds for Rowcroft Hospice.

Cofton’s weekend-long event also featured crowd-favourite tribute acts, including Elvis and Dolly Parton, a breathtaking fire show and spectacular fireworks finale, as well as food stalls dishing up everything from American classics to local Devon delights.

Following a spectacular weekend, the show was brought to close with the awards presentation, chosen and handed out with the help of Dawlish’s Deputy Mayor. The top trophies were awarded to:

People’s Choice - 1955 GMC Pickup, Trevor Pellow

Cofton’s Choice - 1978 Plymouth Fury, Paul Cunliffe

Best Custom - 1932 Ford 3 Window Coupe, Andy Gardiner

Looking Ahead to 2026

Cofton Holidays has confirmed that the American Car Show will return next year from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th July 2026, falling on the 4th of July weekend. With excitement already building, organisers are encouraging guests to plan ahead – especially as this year’s pitches sold out quickly.
