Good Food Market returns - and it's tastier than ever!
The award-winning Good Food Market held in Plymouth’s historic Royal William Yard, is back for 2017 with a new location starting on Sunday February 5 - just in time for Valentine’s Day!
The much loved market, which has become a regular destination for South West ‘foodies’, will offer a host of local food and drink suppliers and producers at the new location of Factory Cooperage. Local produce will include organic cordial supplier Tom Morrow, and authentic African condiments and sauces made by local chef Kumbirai Gundidza. Market favourites Karen’s Cakes from South Devon will also return with their sell-out cakes, tarts & brownies.
Emily Handslip Director of Urban Splash said: “The Good Food market is growing in popularity and we wanted to make it even more interesting by returning in 2017 with new locations. The market will move between sheltered accessible space in and around The Factory Cooperage, The Green and also Main Street.”
People who want to enjoy a fantastic lunch while at the market, can also use the brand new Yard Card, launched for the public and regular visitors to receive exclusive discounts from many of the restaurants and retailers inside Royal William Yard. Yard Card sign up can be done at https://www.royalwilliamyard.com/yard-card . Yard cards will be received in the post, followed by regular exclusive offers, deals, discounts and competitions.
The Good Food market at the Yard takes place on the first Sunday of the month from 10am to 3pm. There's lots of parking at the Yard, payable by pay and display, but visitors are encouraged to 'think green' and travel by bus, bike, boat or boot.
