Appeal after woman assaulted in Plymouth
Police in Plymouth are appealing for witnesses after a woman in her 60s was assaulted in the street.
The incident happened on Wednesday 22 January at around 3pm in Cornwall Street, Plymouth.
The victim was walking past a cafe with a walking stick when she was approached by a woman who had been sitting outside the cafe.
An altercation took place and the victim was then punched in the face.
A 34-year-old woman from Plymouth has been arrested on suspicion of assault and released on police bail until 24 February 2014.
