Ashfords' Plymouth Charity Quiz

Raising money can prove difficult but should always be fun - and so it was at Ashfords Plymouth office's hugely successful charity quiz last night at the City College Plymouth restaurant.

A record breaking £2,000 was for raised for our chosen Charity of the Year, Children's Hospice South West at the Plymouth Office's annual Charity Quiz.

Some 60 clients and contacts took part, including University of Plymouth, Sutton Harbour, City College Plymouth, Brewin Dolphin, Charles Stanley, Plymouth College of Art and many more.

Many of the quizzers struggled to answer Melissa Paul's challenging questions, as our quiz master, George Wilkinson, kept the guests in order and the programme on time.

Meanwhile the students at the City College Plymouth demonstrated the skills they are learning on their Hospitality training course, ensuring everyone had enough of their excellent food and drink .

Finally, big congratulations to the 'Universally Challenged' team from Plymouth University who were the well deserved winners on the night!
