Body found in hunt for missing Chudleigh man

Police investigating the disappearance of missing Chudleigh man Mike Vincent discovered the body of a man in Chudleigh on Sunday (3rd November)  morning at around 11am.

The man has not been formally identified but the family of Mr Vincent have been informed.

Police in Devon appealed for information over the weekend to help trace Mike Vincent, aged 64 years, who has been missing from Chudleigh, Devon, since Thursday 31 October 2013.

He is described as a white male, large build, 5ft 10 inches to 5ft 11 inches tall with short grey, well-groomed hair. He wears steel rimmed glasses.

He has a scar on the left side of his neck and a scar on his right hand.

He may be wearing a red checked shirt and sandy coloured chino trousers.

Police and family say this behaviour is out of character and they are worried about his welfare.
