Celebrate the Queen's 90th Birthday in Plymouth

This weekend (Sunday 12th June) to celebrate the Queen's official 90th birthday, the Mall outside Buckingham Palace will host a huge street party for 10,000 guests. If you haven’t made the invite list you can head down to the Royal William Yard or Plymouth’s city centre to join in their celebrations!

At the Royal William Yard there will be a day of Yard-style royal celebration. There will be stalls selling quintessential British food and drink, a brass band performing from 1pm – 3pm and throughout the whole weekend you can watch the classic Cremyll Keelboats taking part in a regatta, out of the Yard harbour, from around 10.00am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Boats returning around 4.00pm.

Meanwhile in the city centre, from 10.00am – 4.00pm, there’s opportunity to enjoy all the celebrations from the capital which will be shown live on the big screen. There will be picnic benches, stalls, street food and live music from ‘Just Misbehavin’.
