Diners assaulted in Tavistock restaurant

Police in Tavistock are appealing for witnesses and information after an incident in the Ganges restaurant on West Street in Tavistock.

At around 11pm on Sunday 25 August 2013, three customers of the restaurant are believed to have been assaulted both physically and verbally while inside the premises.

The victims, a man and two women, suffered significant verbal abuse and were then physically assaulted by another man.

Police believe other people would have witnessed the incident at the time and are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the restaurant or nearby on West Street.
