Exciting new venue to open in central Torquay
Torquay town centre will soon be home to an exciting new venue, offering a dynamic and flexible space for music, theatre, comedy and cultural events.
Opening in late Spring 2025, Arena Torquay has been designed with both artists and audiences in mind, combining state-of-the-art backstage and front of house facilities, with a vibrant atmosphere for events of all kinds.
Arena, formerly the iconic nightclub Bohemia, is in the process of being purposefully refitted to cater for a range of events. The capacity of up to 1,200 standing will make it one of the largest venues in the region, and the space has been divided into a main stage room, which is adjacent to a spacious bar and a second smaller performance area.
Significant investment has also been made in audio-visual equipment to ensure a superior experience for audiences, including a top-of-the-range sound system and LED screens behind and around the stage.
