Outpost 2015 Pop-Up Theatre
12 October to 31 October
This October, Plymouth-based touring theatre company New Model Theatre are heading back to Plymouth’s historic Royal William Yard to present three weeks of incredible theatre in the pop-up venue, Outpost.
From today until Saturday 31 October they will be showcasing award-winning touring shows alongside three world premieres by Devon-based artists and a half-term week packed full of shows for all the family.
Family shows taking place in half-term include:

The Lost Tales of Devon

Jollyween October half term Pumpkin Week
26 October to 30 October
Pennywell Farm are gearing up for their Pumpkin Week which takes place Monday to Friday next week.
Kids can in the pumpkin and giant spoon race, pumpkin tossing, pumpkin skittles and have a go at the daily competition for the longest pumpkin throw. Every child will be given a pumpkin, which can be carved onsite before taking home.

Burrator Halloween Spooktacular

Come and join South West Lakes Trust at Burrator Reservoir on Friday 30 October for a Halloween night Spooktacular! The ‘Ghosties, Goblins and Ghoulies' evening, which will commence at 6.00pm and finish around 8.00pm, will involve a number of Halloween themed activities including spooky stories and traditional Halloween fun, including a night walk. Fancy dress is optional.

The Pumpkin Festival Halloween Murder Mystery Dinner

Enjoy an evening of Halloween murder mystery fun, and play detective to solve the crime. The Pumpkin Institute of Growers (PIG) are holding their annual get together where there is much rivalry over the coveted PIG trophy. Some of the entrants take it so very seriously that they would do anything to win but for others there is much more sinister reason for their attendance. Do you know your pumpkins from your murderers...if so join us for night of hilarious Halloween fun.
