Lord Mayor’s Schools Carol Services

Children and young people from 36 schools all over the city will be coming together to sing  their favourite carols at this year’s Lord Mayor’s Schools Carol Services.

The Lord Mayor of Plymouth, together with Plymouth Youth Music Service, will be holding three Schools Carol Services at The Minster Church of St Andrew on:

Thursday 10 December 1.00pm
Friday 11 December 10.00am
Friday 11 December 1.00pm

The services will all be led by the Reverend Joe Dent.

Lord Mayor of Plymouth, Councillor Doctor John Mahony said: “The carol services really are one of the highlights of the year and it is great to see that yet again a record number of schools are taking part this year.”

Fiona Pendreigh, Head of Plymouth Youth Music Service said: “This year we will be focussing on a great singing event as part of the festive season and we look forward to many children from all age groups taking part in these services.”

Parents and families are welcome to attend but seating will be limited due to the large numbers of participants.
