Money laundering arrests in West Devon
Police have arrested a man and a woman on suspicion of money laundering after a warrant was executed in West Devon.
The operation took place on Tuesday 10 September 2013, and involved officers from the Serious Organised Crime Branch, the Force Support Group and uniformed officers from Okehampton.
The warrant was executed at a combined private and business premises in the North Tawton area.
As a result, a man aged 60 years and a woman aged 43 years were arrested on suspicion of money laundering and a firearms offence, relating to unlicensed ammunition found during the search.
They were interviewed by staff from the Economic Crime Unit and later released on Police bail to return to Exeter's Heavitree Road Police Station on 11 March 2014.
