National award for sales adviser Jodie
Plymouth’s Jodie Ward is celebrating after being named top sales adviser in Barratt Homes’ national annual awards.
Jodie, who is based at the five star housebuilder’s Redwood Heights development in the city, competed against colleagues from across the south west – as well as those from elsewhere in the country. Nominations were received from around 380 developments in the country which employ around 550 sales advisers.
Judges based their decision on a range of criteria – including customer satisfaction, the presentation of the sales office at Redwood Heights, team working, and impact on the business.
“We are justifiably proud of our sales team across the region, so the winner of the Julie Carmichael Sales Advisor Award 2019 has to be something very special,” said sales director, Nicki Reid.
“I am delighted for Jodie. To be placed higher than any other Barratt Homes sales adviser is an amazing achievement. It is a reflection, not only of her sales figures, but of the excellent service she provides to homebuyers here in Plymouth.
“Jodie is always very welcoming and friendly to customers – achieving 100 per cent satisfaction ratings consistently each quarter. Having never worked within the construction industry before, she has progressed at a rapid rate and is now a role model for those joining the Barratt Homes sales team.
“Her peers have nothing but positive words to describe Jodie, and her positive impact on the business. I look forward to seeing that continue over the coming year.”
Jodie, who joined Barratt Homes as a trainee adviser in March 2018, commented: “I’m very pleased to accept this prestigious award. It’s great to be given some recognition when you work hard to do a good job.
“I enjoy an excellent relationship with those who visit us at Redwood Heights, and I’m very proud to have done well on behalf of our team here – against excellent advisers from across the country. Redwood Heights is a wonderful development, which gives me immense job satisfaction.”
Jodie was presented with her award at a gala dinner, held at The Belfry in Birmingham.
