Overnight roadworks planned on A380 and A361
Overnight road closures are planned on the A380 and A361 dual carriageways later this month (June) for routine highway maintenance work.
This will include grass cutting, tree work, gully emptying, pothole repairs, routine inspections, sign cleaning, litter picking and minor drainage and safety barrier maintenance.
Work on the A380 will take place overnight from 7pm to 6am between Splatford Split near Exeter and Penn Inn roundabout, Newton Abbot, for a week starting on Monday 15 June.
On Monday 15 June and Tuesday 16 June, both the Exeter and Torbay-bound carriageways will be closed between Penn Inn roundabout to the Eagle Farm Junction. A signed diversion route will re-direct traffic via Newton Abbot and Kingsteignton.
On the evenings of Wednesday 17 June, Thursday 18 June and Friday 19 June, the remaining section will cover both the Exeter and Torbay-bound carriageways from the Eagle Farm Junction to Splatford Split. Diversion routes will be in place using the A38 and other main roads.
Overnight closures are also planned on the A361 North Devon Link Road, between Junction 27 and Bolham roundabout, for routine highway maintenance work.
This section of the road will be closed from 7pm-6am on the evenings of Monday 22 June, Tuesday 23 June and Wednesday 24 June. A signed diversion route will be in place via Willand, Halberton and Tiverton, and vice versa.
