Plymouth neighbours celebrate lottery win

Seven people in Plymouth are celebrating after winning £1,000 each thanks to their lucky postcode.

The Grantham Close neighbours netted the windfall when PL7 1UL was announced as a Daily Prize winner with People’s Postcode Lotteryon Saturday 31st October 2020.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson sent his well-wishes to the winners. He said: “Congratulations to all the winners this Saturday, brilliant news!  I hope you enjoy spending the cash”

A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.

This draw was promoted on behalf of WWF who help to build a future in which people and nature thrive.  Players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised £18.4 million pounds for WWF, with the money helping to bring impactful change to our planet. 

Many good causes close to the winners have also benefitted from players’ support, and local charities can apply for funding next year.
