Plymouth opens book of congratulations for royal couple

Plymouth City Council has started a book of congratulations so people can leave messages to congratulate the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the birth of their son.

The book can be signed at the First Stop reception in the Civic Centre, Armada Way, between 8.30am and 5pm.

Council leader Tudor Evans said: “This is an historic event and there’s a huge amount of enthusiasm and excitement. We wanted to give everyone the chance to send a personal messages through a book from the people of Plymouth.”

Messages sent to congratulations@plymouth.gov.uk will also be added to the book.
