Police appeal for help to locate man missing from the Plymouth area

Update 14 May: Christopher was found safe and well in the local area late last night.

Reported 13 May 2013: Police are appealing for help from the public in finding a missing man from the Plymouth area.

Police have concerns for the welfare of Christopher Pearce, 56, and have been actively seeking him since around 4am this morning (Monday 13 May 2013).

Christopher is a rough sleeper in the area and known to frequent the city centre as well as other areas.

Police have carried out checks, including searches of the Hoe foreshore, Jennycliff and surrounding areas but have not been able to locate him.

Christopher is described as a white male around 5ft 8in tall, of slim build with thinning light brown hair. He is thought to be clean shaven with blue eyes and speaks with a local accent.

Anyone with any information is asked to call police on 101 quoting police ref. 62 of 13 May.
