Police call for witnesses to A386 collision
Police in Plymouth are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision.
The collision occurred at approximately 2.30pm on Thursday 8 August on the A386 Tavistock Road, Plymouth at the junction of William Prance Road and involved a black Yamaha scooter bearing ‘L’ plates and a dark grey Ford C-Max.
The collision was directly opposite McDonald's on the city bound carriageway, and resulted in part of the road being closed whilst police carried out their investigation.
The rider of the scooter, a 33-year-old local man, was admitted to Derriford Hospital with internal injuries, and injuries to his pelvis.
