Police seek witnesses to Mary Tavy motorcycle collision
Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision near to Tavistock on Sunday.
The collision involved a motorcycle and a Land Rover on the A386 near to the Dartmoor Inn at Mary Tavy at around 2.30pm.
A Yamaha 1100cc motorcycle which was being ridden by a 56-year-old man from Okehampton with a 51-year-old female pillion passenger, was travelling in the direction of Tavistock when it collided with a Land Rover Freelander.
Both the rider and pillion passenger sustained life-threatening injuries and remain in Derriford Hospital.
The driver of the Freelander, who police say is from the Liskeard area, was unharmed. His front seat passenger suffered whiplash injuries.
