Presentation by Halfway Harmony Choir to South West Mesothelioma Support Group
The South West Mesothelioma Support Group would like to extend sincere thanks to their friends in Halfway Harmony choir who have once again made a very generous donation to help those affected by asbestos related cancer.
A fantastic £39.11 was raised via bucket collections at local gigs and £677.60 was raised via the annual New Years Dip at Cawsand organised by the Torpoint and Rame Peninsular Lions club.
Halfway Harmony are a group of male singers who meet on Wednesday evenings in the Halfway House Inn, Kingsand, Cornwall following their practice with Rame Peninsula Male Voice Choir.
Formed in the mid 1980s, they have since sung in many pubs, clubs and village halls entertaining with their unique barbershop/singalong style, whilst raising thousands of pounds for various groups and charities along the way.
Members of the South West Mesothelioma Group greatly appreciate the choir's ongoing support and look forward to hearing them sing again very soon.
