The ultimate festive evening at Drake Circus and The Barcode this Christmas
Christmas has officially kicked off and to help visitors make the most of the festive season, Drake Circus and The Barcode has rounded up a list of places to eat, drink and have fun in Plymouth this December.
From street food style treats, to relaxed dinning and getting into the spirit with a festive film, there are plenty of options available to enjoy this Christmas.
Late night shopping has also returned to Drake Circus, with visitors able to enjoy shopping until 8pm every Thursday with selected retailers staying open until 9pm in the lead up to Christmas.
Visitors can also take advantage of discounted parking at The Barcode for £2.50 if arriving after 5pm.
Boom Battle Bar
Boom Battle Bar is latest addition to The Barcode and is an ideal place for a Christmas get together.
From axe throwing to shuffleboard, it has a range of activities for visitors to enjoy, alongside a variety of street food options and drinks to choose from.
Cosy Club
Situated in Drake Circus’, The Barcode, the Cosy Club is a great spot for a festive evening of relaxed dining with friends and family.
Visitors can choose from a variety of small plates, mains and puddings from the festive menu, with dishes including a Roast Turkey & Smoked Bacon Pie and Brie, Bacon & Squash Tarte tatin – or sip on a few Christmas cocktails at the bar.
Las Iguanas
This year Las Iguanas has launched its new Christmas menu, with diners able to enjoy a two or three course feast, with tasty treats including Nachos Navidad, or even try out the return of its late-night Bottomless Brunch.
Five Guys
Five Guys have something for everyone this Christmas, including the launch of its new pigs in blankets flavoured milkshake!
Visitors can also pick up Christmas gift cards from the Drake Circus restaurant to treat their loved ones this festive season.
Brewdog
Visitors can head to BrewDog at The Barcode to try their popular draught beers and ciders, as well as a selection of bottles and cans.
This Christmas Brewdog will also be offering Christmas pizza buffets and turkey sliders, alongside drink packages, making for the perfect spot to meet up with friends.
Plus, the World Cup games are also being played in their dedicated viewing area.
Zizzi’s
Visitors can celebrate Christmas at Zizzi’s in December with its festive themed food menu.
Zizzi’s 3-course Merry Moments Menu is available until 3rd January 2023 and includes wild boar and winter plum crumble.
Cineworld
With 14 state-of-the-art screens including IMAX, the world’s most immersive cinema experience, and 4DX there are plenty of options for film lovers at Cineworld this Christmas.
This year’s festive options include the latest blockbuster Avatar 2: The Way of Water, or Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, as well as a range of live events including the Royal Ballet's The Nutcracker.
Paradise Island
Paradise Island Adventure Golf at The Barcode is an 18-hole Adventure Golf course that’s great for a Christmas get to together.
Those feeling successful can also take on their 19th hole where the perfect hole-in-one could result in winning a free game.
Nando’s
Nando’s is the perfect spot to have a break from turkey this Christmas, with the new seasonal menu including a limited-edition Maple & Orange spice and a PERI PERI twist on Brussels sprouts.
