PLYMOUTH will be bidding for a place in the semi-final of the Travel Plus Tours KO Cup for the second season in succession when they meet Somerset at the St Boniface Arena on Saturday evening (7.15pm), writes Graham Hambly.

The first leg of the quarter-final was taking place at Somerset’s Oak Tree Arena on Friday evening with the deciding leg in Plymouth 24 hours later.

Saturday’s meeting will be Plymouth’s first home fixture for three weeks and the promotion will be looking for a good attendance after a run of six successive away matches.

Co-promoter Ashley Taylor says: "Hopefully, we will have kept things tight in the first leg, so there is everything to race for on Saturday evening. It has been a difficult time for us with a run of away fixtures, but now it is a case of capitalising on our home fixtures."

Plymouth have named a full strength side, but Somerset have called up Edward Kennett as a guest replacement for Brady Kurtz, who is in Italy for the World Under-21 final.

Plymouth: Ryan Fisher, Morten Risager, Jack Holder, Todd Kurtz, Kyle Newman. Reserves: Sam Simota, Roland Benko.
Somerset: Edward Kennett, Leigh Lanham, Richie Worrall, Charles Wright, Josh Grajczonek. Reserves: Paul Starke, Ollie Greenwood.
