Pilgrims complete deal for Andre Blackman
Plymouth Argyle have announced that they have completed the signing of the former Celtic left-back Andre Blackman.
The 22-year-old defender who was a free agent after being released by Celtic at the end of last season, has agreed a six-month contract with the Pilgrims in time for the start of the 2013-14 season on Saturday.
Blackman made his debut for the Greens in the friendly match against Yeovil Town on Saturday which Plymouth lost 2-1.
Argyle begin the new season with an away game at Southend United on Saturday (3 August)
Manager John Sheridan told the Plymouth Argyle website: "I’ve seen him play a few times and I think he’s an excellent footballer. That’s why I’ve brought him here."
