Plymouth tumbled out of speedway's Knock-Out Cup at the first round stage after a 15 point aggregate defeat to Newcastle Diamonds over the weekend.

The Devils lost the home leg 46-44 on Friday evening, a narrow defeat which left them with some hope of overturning the 2 point deficit in the north east. It was not to be though and Plymouth will now look ahead to their next Premier League fixture at the St Boniface Arena on Friday 10 May.
