PLYMOUTH stage what promises to be one of their most important matches of the season at the St Boniface Arena on Friday evening (7.15pm) with a Premier League match against play-off rivals Ipswich.

The Witches currently occupy the sixth – and final – play-off position and are the team the Skills Group Devils need to overhaul if they are to figure in the end of season battle for the championship.

Team manager Lee Trigger says: "It’s a must win fixture for us. We have to make sure Ipswich do not go away with a losing bonus point. We can’t afford to let them have anything."

The Devils will be at full strength but Ipswich will be without two of their top three riders.

They operate rider replacement for the suspended Rohan Tungate while Glasgow’s Aaron Summers has been called up as a guest replacement for the injured Nico Covatti.

Leading the visitors will be number one Danny King with American Gino Manzares and Australian teenager Cameron Heeps completing the top five. At reserve will be former Plymouth rider Ashley Morris and former British under-19 champion Stefan Nielsen.

Plymouth: Kyle Newman, James Wright, Jack Holder, Morten Risager, Ryan Fisher. Reserves: Sam Simota, Todd Kurtz.
Ipswich: Danny King, rider replacement for Rohan Tungate, Gino Manzares, Cameron Heeps, Aaron Summers. Reserves: Stefan Nielsen, Ashley Morris.
