Sheridan begins planning for next season
Plymouth Argyle's manager John Sheridan has begun making plans for next season following his 'in principle' agreement to stay on at the club.
Sheridan, who was appointed in January initially until the end of the season, met the club's owner James Brent on Monday and agreed to continue as manager.
He has immediately moved to offer a number of key players a new deal to remain at the club. Among these are captain Conor Hourihane, player of the season Onimsor Bhasera and defender Paul Wotton who are all out of contract this summer.
Guy Branston, Jake Cole, Andres Gurrieri and Isaac Vassell, have also been offered fresh terms for next season and graduate of the club's academy, Tyler Harvey will be offered a professional contract.
Sheridan will release Anthony Charles, Ollie Chenoweth, Jamie Lowry and Jared Sims, with long term injury casualty, Warren Feeney, given a chance to impress in pre-season before any decision is made.
Two players under contract but deemed surplus to requirements, Nick Chadwick and Rene Gilmartin, will be transfer listed.
The club have issued the following lists in a statement on their website.
