Body found in search for missing man

Police searching for missing 55-year-old Christopher Barrow have found the body of a man in Swimbridge.

The body, which was discovered yesterday (Wednesday) has not yet been identified, but Mr Barrow's family have been informed.

Police units were involved in extensive searches around the Barnstaple area for Mr Barrow since Tuesday afternoon.

The police helicopter and both Dartmoor and Exmoor Rescue Groups were involved in the search along with the Devon Cave Search and Rescue Group.
