Appeal after serious assault in Plymouth

Detectives have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a serious assault in Plymouth.

A 20-year-old man from Plymouth sustained a broken jaw after being attacked by two men outside Bar Cuba, North Hill in Plymouth.

He was punched in the face by one man during the assault which happened between 6.30am and 7am on Sunday 7 September.

The victim was treated at Derriford Hospital for his injuries. His friend, who tried to intervene in the altercation, also sustained a black eye.

Police have now released an image of a man who may be able to assist with their investigation into the assault.
