Investigation launched after body found in Stonehouse, Plymouth
Detectives have launched an investigation following the sudden death of an elderly man in Plymouth.
Officers were called to a property in Telegraph Wharf, Stonehouse, just after 8pm on Sunday 9 November.
A 74-year-old man was found deceased at the address and police are treating the death as unexplained.
A 49-year-old Plymouth man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.
Officers from the Force’s Major Crime Investigation Team are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
The property has been cordoned off while police enquiries continue.
