Experience a truly traditional Christmas by visiting the city’s Christmas market, bursting with unique gift ideas, festive treats and mulled wine.

Operated by Market Place Europe, the UK’s leading operator in special event markets, the market is open until Sunday 14 December.

Wander around a number of stalls, located from the Big Screen on the Piazza through to the glass bubble Christmas tree in the Place de Brest garden, and find hidden gems and treasures, from homemade jewellery, hand written Christmas decorations and novelties,

Fuel your late night shopping sprees and treat yourself to some mouth-watering dishes from all over Europe. With lots to choose from including delicious German Sausage, a range of Polish delights such as hunters stew, grilled gammon joints and bacon fried potatoes as well as an array of eastern European sweet cakes and Baklavas.

At 30” tall the Pyramid Grill, with revolving centre pieces and a 6” BBQ grill, will be one of the biggest stands in the market and will serve Bratwurst, Currywurst and a range of other European specialities.

Soak up the atmosphere, grab a glass of warm mulled wine, a handful of roasted chestnuts and listen to carols being sung by the real Christmas tree, taking place every Thursday evening.
