Speedway: All systems go for Saturday

PLYMOUTH will be looking for their third successive home win in the Premier League when they meet Scunthorpe at the St Boniface Arena on Saturday evening (7.15pm), writes Graham Hambly.

The Skills Group Devils will be without Jack Holder, who will be riding in a qualifying round of the World under-21 championship. They operate rider replacement with new signing Todd Kurtz and Ryan Fisher entitled to take extra rides along with reserve Sam Simota.

Kurtz will be making his first home appearance since rejoining the Devils, who have still to name a guest replacement for injured reserve Sam Chapman.

Scunthorpe are without injured number one Josh Auty, but have a powerful guest in former Plymouth favourite Ben Barker.

Providing the main support to Barker will be skipper Theo Pijper and recent signing Ryan Douglas. Alex Davies and Carl Wilkinson complete the top five with Ben Wilson and 18-year-old Finn Nike Lunna at reserve.
