MTV has announced that 20-year-old Dutch wonder-kid Oliver Heldens will headline day two of MTV Crashes Plymouth with Club MTV.

Oliver Heldens was only 17 years old when the biggest record label in the dance industry, Spinnin' Records, approached and signed him and he is now one of the most in-demand DJs in the world.

Hot on the heels of his UK number one smash single ‘Gecko’, Heldens will play a special exclusive South West show to the MTV crowd on Thursday 23 July.

The full stellar line-up for Day Two mixes some heavyweight performers alongside outstanding emerging superstars, along with Club MTV residents R3wire and Varski.

Also taking to the stage is two-time UK number one chart-topper DJ Fresh, whose massive hits include Louder, Gold Dust, Hot Right Now and the recent Gravity, featuring Ella Eyre.

MTV then welcomes two true stars of the future in Route 94 and David Zowie.

Route 94 – a 21-year-old cutting a distinctive young figure in the house music scene – already has a UK number one under his belt with the summer smash ‘My Love’ featuring MTV Crashes Day One performer Jess Glynne.

The enormously talented David Zowie is the new producer behind 2015’s stand-out summer anthem ‘House Every Weekend’, which is destined to be played out endlessly across radio stations up and down the country.

With more names still to come, MTV Crashes Plymouth Day Two is shaping up to be an unforgettable outdoor summer dance party.

MTV Crashes Plymouth announce Tinie Tempah and Jess Glynne

BRIT, MOBO and Ivor Novello award winner Tinie Tempah and pop heavyweight Jess Glynne have been confirmed to appear on the first night of MTV Crashes Plymouth.

Tinie Tempah, who had a number one with his debut album Disc-Overy and has won BRIT Awards for Best British Breakthrough Act and Best British Single, will be headlining on Wednesday 22 July.

Since the release of his second album, Demonstration, he has had two top 10 singles in the UK charts and he recently became an ambassador for MTV’s Staying Alive Foundation, joining their global fight against HIV.

He’ll be joined at the event of the summer by Jess Glynne, who had number ones with Clean Bandit’s ‘Rather Be’ and Route 94’s ‘My Love’, as well as her own ‘Hold My Hand’, which held the top spot for three weeks. Her debut solo single, Right Here, reached the top 10 and her first album is expected later this year.
