The Old Clay Factory at Redlake (between Ivybridge and Bittaford) will host its first ever Vintage, Antiques and Collectors Fair on Sunday 8th May.

This historical building sits between Bittaford and Ivybridge and is seen as a hub for all communities within a radius comprising the South Hams and Plymouth.  The former clay building, with its distinctive chimney stack has different event spaces for anywhere between 15 and 100 exhibitors or traders.

The event is being promoted throughout the South West as far as Gloucestershire and it is hoped that the Fair could become the largest in the South West, with plenty of space for parking and free entrance to visitors, it will certainly be the place to go if you are looking for the missing item in the collection!

Enquiries are welcome from anyone interested in the event which will run from 10am to 4pm and just a stone’s throw from Dartmoor or 5 minutes from Endsleigh Garden Centre it is a great destination for a great day out!

In addition, food retailers offering something different, something veggie and local are also at Redlake for the day to keep everyone refreshed!

The building is run by Eddystone Trust and throughout the year will be hosting many different types of events both for the community and a wider field – both public and corporate.  Redlake Estate is on the main road out of Ivybridge and before Bittaford and will form a hub for those two areas as well as Totnes, Kingsbridge, Newton Abbot, Ashburton, Tavistock, South Brent, Exeter and the Riviera.

Annette Laurie of LEAP (Laurie Events & Projects) said “I am delighted to be able to continue to  work with the Eddystone Trust, bringing a range of different themes and interests to all members of the South Hams and beyond.  Redlake is truly the hub which has the space for these events to happen.
