Dawlish care home staff raise hundreds for Comic Relief
Members of staff at a Dawlish nursing home have raised over £400 for Comic Relief following a cycling marathon on an exercise bike.
The team at Sefton Hall took it in turns to clock up an impressive 110 miles in 15- or 30-minute stints on Red Nose Day last month.
The home’s senior administrator, Alison Adair, said: “The event was held in the lounge, so that the residents could watch and interact with the staff, but it was socially distanced, so that people didn’t have to wear masks. Everyone had a great time.”
