Aldi announces jobs push in Devon

Aldi is recruiting new colleagues in Devon as a result of its continued expansion in the area.

In a welcome boost to the local economy, the UK’s fastest growing supermarket is currently recruiting for 20 store roles, including Store Assistants.

Aldi is looking to hire for these roles at its Newton Abbot store in Devon.

As the UK’s best paying supermarket, from 1 January 2023, Aldi will pay all Store Assistants at least £11.00 an hour nationally and £12.45 for those inside the M25.

The supermarket remains the only supermarket to offer paid breaks, which for the average store colleague is worth £871 a year.
