Police seek witnesses in assault on 17-year-old in Callington

Police are seeking information following an assault on a 17 year old man in Callington on New Year’s Day, 2013.

The victim, who lives locally, was left with grazes, sprains and a swollen knee after three people engaged him in conversation before punching him.

The incident happened at around 2.45pm on Tuesday 1st January 2013 as the young man walked along an isolated path near to Portmellon Gardens in the town.

The three suspects are all white men aged 18 to 19. One was around 6ft 2 and medium build. He had short brown hair with a pierced right eye brow with a ring, and was wearing an all black track suit and Fila trainers.

The second has short strawberry blond hair, and was wearing a blue/green track suit and black trainers.

The last man was 5`10” tall and of medium build. He had short brown hair, and was wearing a grey tracksuit and white trainers.
