Tonia Couch and Sarah Barrow take bronze again

Plymouth diving duo, Tonia Couch and Sarah Barrow have won bronze in the FINA/MIDEA world series event in Guadalajara in Mexico.

The pair followed their recent bronze in the grand prix in Fort Lauderdale with another third place in the 10m synchro, holding off pressure from the Canadian duo in a tightly fought competition.

China took the gold and Malaysia silver.

Couch and Barrow continue their good form ahead of the outdoor world championships in Barcelona in July.

Tonia Couch is also due to participate in the women's individual 10m platform event tomorrow (Sunday).

Meanwhile Tom Daley has been a doubt for the men's 10m platform event with an elbow injury. The qualifying round takes place tomorrow with the final on Monday. Daley could be withdrawn if the team feel it is better to rest the injury.
